Rich The Kid and Kendrick Lamar are working on new music. The Atlanta and Compton rappers, respectively, popped up in a brief video clip together from the studio.

At this point, no word on what Rich and K. Dot are cooking up, and where the record (or records) might land. XXL will keep you updated as more information emerges. You can view the aforementioned video above courtesy of Twitter.

Rich The Kid confirmed the collaboration, going on Twitter early Wednesday morning (Jan. 11) and writing, “In the studio working with @kendricklamar.”

In case you missed it, Kendrick is slated to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2017. Other hip-hop acts include ScHoolboy Q, Lil Uzi Vert, Mac Miller, Gucci Mane, Raury, Denzel Curry and Tory Lanez. Additionally, the festival’s non-rap headliners are Beyoncé and Radiohead.

XXL‘s Sidney Madden recently spoke with the TDE artist about his appreciation for President Barack Obama, who gave his farewell speech in Chicago yesterday (Jan. 10).

“I think the world, not just hip-hop owes him,” said K-Dot. “We all have to give him his credit due for even allowing us into the building. We would probably never get inside that house ever again. Think about it like that. Rick Ross, Cole, Nicki Minaj, he really went for us to come experience it. This is something our grandparents always wanted to see…”
